Awful experience with Budget truck rental. I had a reservation for a 26ft truck two weeks prior. On the day of the reservation, I arrived on time with my confirmation number. I was informed that I was supposed to arrive at 9am, although my reservation stated 12pm. I was told that they didn't have any trucks for me, and that someone was supposed to call me but failed to do so. I will never use Budget again, and don't recommend their service to anyone. Stay away from Sumter SC Budget.

Purchase non-ethanol gas here. Really nice friendly family place. Good mechanics. Have not needed to rent a truck so I cannot speak to that.
Very bad service when your trying to get to an actual person at the location an can't due to no answering phone an very rude lady who do answer but seem to have no compassion for customer who didn't get the update on drop off rules so I called in an complain of fakes charge made to card days later when your already had messed up experience with customer line with whole rental pick up so I feel like budget need to do better on customer service skill on handle people with kindness not rudeness but I got an better attitude with Rep who assist me with my issue vs store reps
Great deal on a truck. Truck was nearly new and ran like a top. Budget is exactly half the cost of uhaul.
