Ok. Can never seem to get the rewards in person, it never recognizes my number. So I've resorted to buying online.
This theater is the closest one to our home, and though it is not as new or as fancy are others may be, I have never had a bad experience there. In fact, it is the only theater that I can depend on to have my favorite treat each time I visit: a frozen coke. Sometimes it is the small things that make it worthwhile and I for one will continue to use this theater for my family's movie needs.
*Update They have changed their policy on frozen cokes so I'm not nearly as happy. But I guess that's life
All my experiences have been positive. The staff is patient and polite. The seats are comfortable and the cinema is clean.
They have a new rule every week about how I can't get in to see a movie- something the American teenager has been doing for decades! Supposedly, I couldn't get into a movie because the adult present wasn't my LEGAL guardian, and they failed to mention this absurd rule AFTER almost all of us had bought tickets. It's a movie, not some video from BestGore or a porno. Also, food prices are WAY too high, it's better to just sneak food in.
I frequently attend Beacon Stadium Cinemas and though of course I am often disappointed by the movies that are shown I am always pleased by the prompt courteous service I receive from the ticket-takers and the friendly folks at the concession stand, who know, as they like to say, "that a flick without a buttered popcorn is like a breast without a nipple!" However, I get the impression that few of my fellow audience members are aware of a Beacon feature that I and many others have been enjoying for some time now . . . so next time, be sure to ask the manager about Beacon's secret underground roller-skating rink and petting zoo.
