I visited Applebees on Dec. 16, 2017 after 7 pm. When I enter the restaurant there was no hostess at the door. So I went to the bar hoping to get noticed but that didn't happen either. So after a short period of time I asked one of the employees passing by if I could sit at the high top table in the bar area. Once seated after about ten minutes no one came to take our drink orders. I then stopped the hostess how long before someone will come and his repones was "they are busy right now", instead of "they will be with you shortly and I will get someone to get your drink orders". The manager Chelsey was in the mist of passing our table and heard my conversation with the host. Chelsey pretended to ask someone about our table then she preceed on to doing something else. So then we got moved to the bar by Kristen who was our bar tender. She also was assigned to the high top table too. Once at the bar things begin to run a little smoother, then I asked to have the music turned up and for a split sec it was turned up. However, Kristen got in trouble for turning the music up, per customer request. This is the holiday and a Friday night and we are sitting there and it's a dry dead feeling in the bar. I asked Rain the manager to turn the music up and he totally ignores my request. All I can say being a manager myself if my staff ignores the request of my customers they would be fired. Chelsey and Rain you need to up your management skills and not do what it is that you want to do but bring back the Applebees atmosphere when everyone wanted to be there and we could enjoy being at Applebees.
I'm all for,being patient... my CHURCH members and I arrived about 4 pm for dinner. Food was served at 5:50. The black bean soup was smoking, but the dept on getting the entree has been very disappointing. As I post, I'm being served, waiting for things to get better. Food is hot... and everything good. Just way too slow... Shout out to Iesha, our waitress, for great service anyhow. We had a party of 14..
Worst experience at an Applebee's I have ever had. Took us 30 minutes after being seated to be ask what we wanted to drink and for a server to come to the table. Then glasses needed refilled never came them took over 30 minutes to get food when they bought food wazout they said broccoli was cooking so why bring out food when not everything was ready I took 3 bits of the items I had worse food ever. So I left it. Very slow getting refills on drinks. Server was setting in bench by front door part of the time we were there. We left a survey at the table on the tablet and we did not get any response so we will not be eating at a Applebee's in the future worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.
Visited with my family just to have a night free of cooking. I've always enjoyed Applebee's. This was my first time at this location and I wasn't disappointed. The food was hot and delicious, our waitress kept our drinks filled and when the game machine didn't work she brought us another one. Overall, a great experience.
The waitress had an attitude, the burger looked nothing like the picture on the menu. My hubby ate his entire meal without a r efiil. I will not come back needless to say.
