These ladies know their stuff. I came in with a color disaster from another salon and cried "Help!" Luckily Kim knew how to reverse it, treat it, and give me the color I wanted. The best hair salon in Sumter.
Monique is the BEST stylist I have EVER been to in the many states I have lived. She takes her time and doesn't rush your process. She is highly knowledgeable and professional and explains what she is doing and why. She is realistic about your hair goals and end result, and cares about the integrity of your hair. She is truly great at what she does and is one of the stylists that you would say "I will only let her touch my hair" and because of that I will only ever go to Monique.
I have seen Brandon and dyane.and let me tell you they are absolutely amazing. I came in after an incident with my blonde hair and it was fried and I lost alot of length and thickness. Brandon did an amazing darker color on me to hide the fry it was beautiful and faded into the perfect color. Unfortunately the pretty color didn't hide my fry this was the color i asked for though so he did it great. So I went back he wasn't in i saw dyane. And omg. She did an amazing dark chocolate color his everything. Gave me a deep condition with mizani which I went out and bought afterwards and a blow out with the model can cream it looks and feels amazing which I also bought. Every piece of advice she gave me was absolute gold they are amazing people I love them both so much after only having met them once a piece I wable to follow their advice and my hair is thriving thank you so much for these wonderful people. I went from no salon to this place is my salon.
I went in for a price check on a blowout and three women were working and NONE of them greeted me. One woman was on a ladder putting shampoo bottles on the shelves, looked in my direction and didn't say A WORD. The other two women were looking in an inventory book and I stood there and I waited, and waited. They barely wanted to speak to me. They referred me to another stylist who worked there who wasn't on duty that day. Unfortunately the ONLY reason they behaved in this manner was because I am BLACK. SICK of that being an excuse to treat people this way. I called Regis Corporation that afternoon to report this incident and James, the District Manager over this site, HAS NOT contacted me after I left my phone number for him to call me back. Therefore, you are reading this bad review. Unfortunately these women didn't learn how to treat people the way they wanted to be treated when they were in kindergarten. INEXCUSABLE! I'LL NEVER SUPPORT A REGIS IN MY LIFE.
Most staff was nice but hair dresser (DIANE) was terrible! I got to the appointment on time and she wasn't even there! She also was VERY mean/ugly with her words!!! If you go to Regis DON'T get Diane!!!
