Some of the better stylist I've had in a Sports Clips. Way better than the one in Hampton, VA!
Let me start I am not totally fair in giving this location only 2 stars as the manager provides great customer service. However, one member of her staff doesn't provide acceptable customer service, nor does this one have a talent in cutting hair. I guest I can fault the manager for running a "tight ship." When I visited this location for the first time yesterday, I was promised no longer than 5 minute wait. Others waiting laughed and said they were promise 10 minute wait 30 minutes earlier. I stayed as others waiting started leaving.
I feel a little guilty pointing out Donna but anyone should have noticed hair was different lengths. I am greatly appreciative to managee but please monitor your staff members.
Returned this morning and a different stylist sat me down and did her best to fix the mistakes ( at no cost). Although its a bit shorter than i would have liked, she did an excellent job returning my head to its former glory (coworker approved). Her name is Santasia and i would recommend her.
Went into Sport Clips here in Sumter, SC and had a great experience. Walked in at 1:07pm and was cut with the MVP towel treatment and all. I walked out at 1:22pm. No wait. Had to take my daughter in with me and the staff was great, they kept her positive company while I was getting a quick and accurate cut. If you have been here before I would say try them again. I have read some reviews before giving it a try and got the complete opposite experience. I would like to say thanks Sport Clips of Sumter and see you again in 2 - 3 weeks.

I've been to this location several times before this and got good hair cuts, so i wouldn't knock this place, just choose your stylist wisely.
Came to this location before work yesterday, the girl who cut my hair was very nice and got the job done quickly, her name was Keshia. However after i arrived at work and my hair dried out, it was not long before my coworkers started pointing out details about my haircut... bad ones. Checked for myself and they were right, hair on the sides of my head was longer than the top, uneven hairline behind my ears and an overall choppy cut.
A stylist by name of Donna called me back when I got ready to leave 30 after arriving. She seem to know what she doing. I told her exactly what I wanted.....an inch trim of my 3 inch long hair When I looked in mirror, most of my hair was 1/2. I told her to just even it up, wash it and put "product" in it. When I got home, I just in pool and when I came up, friend asked why one side was 3 inches long and other was 1/2 inch long. Needless to say that after looking in mirror, I was furious. I found she hadn't touched one side, cut one side to 1/2 inches and shaved back. I lived in 30 miles from this location so I could easily return. Thus, the next morning, I called manager who was super sweet. She arranged for me to go to Harbinson location in Columbia. The stylist there was amazed. She said all they could do was cut ball top to 1/2 inches a d let it grow out. The Harbinson was AWESOME and stylist truly talented.
