I was seeing a doctor in Columbia for my pregnancy, but my water broke in town and was too scared to drive far. I was seeing Jamie. I cannot tell you how relieved i was when she listened to me about how pitocin effects me how fast my births are with it and how epidural don't really with on me and so on. I was not nad that the epidural didn't work. I was just happy that this birth experience was the best I've ever had. My first one i had a really bad experience and didn't want to go through that ever again. In my teen years of having exams, these were the most painless ones I've ever had. I had them so painful before but these took me by surprise. I just don't like the receptionist cause they neglected to call me saying i didn't need to be seen until i was sitting there half naked on the table waiting for jamie to come in. Also they are great with children if you ever being them in. My little baby was known, the baby with all that hair :3 I'm just so grateful that i had a great experience with them and will recommend them for exams and pregnancy. Mrs. Jamie you are the best!
Both performed my weekly check ups, delivery, and surgery. My experience was beyond awesome.
Doing this for my daughter because she is too upset. She had wonderful help/experiences with the nurses and OB docs during her pregnancy last year. Great Dr's and nurses. She went for her annual appointment today (her son is 11 months old). She was very nervous. She suffers from PCOS and has always had hormone problems. She's been having some complications and was very interested in talking to the Dr about specific issues. She saw Dr Willams, an older Gyn. She left in tears with none of her questions answered. He embarrassed & humiliated her. She's overweight (has been working on losing it). He berated her about her weight, told her she was being hostile when she broke into tears after his rude comments. She'd prepared a list of questions regarding symptoms (severe cramping CONSTANTLY - he said that was good ???). He wouldn't listen, said she knew what to do - just lose the weight and told her she needed to find a different Dr. Do you even KNOW how devastating this type of old-school mentality is? I hope he retires VERY soon. I hope she won't let this one disgusting, horrific experience scare her from getting the answers she needs. I plan on writing a formal letter of complaint, but this is a warning - not against the whole clinic - but against this old Dr Williams. Beware ladies.
Worst place to go for your prenatal care as it relates to the administrative aspect . I left Sumter Obgyn to get my care here and I regret it. The phones always go unanswered. I have never experienced such level of incompetence. I have special request for my appointments and every time they book the same times I tell them I am not available. I am just so disappointed with the service . It is painful.
Been going here since the beginning of my pregnancy and I must truly say it has been a wonderful experience so far. It's almost time for my delivery can't wait to see how that experience will be.
