I had Avant & Associates as my property management company for years but they let my home fall into disrepair. It sat on the market for eight months while they told me everything was fine, only to find out that it was a disaster inside.
Stephanie Jackson was my realtor and was absolutely amazing!! She was great to work with and went above and beyond for me! The whole staff at Avant and Associates are all amazing people!! Let them help you with all your real-estate needs!!
The only time that I heard from the company was when something was broken and they charged me an additional 10% on top of my repair bill just for making the phone call. They use their family members to make construction repairs and they are never complete. I asked several times for walk thru to be completed and they never did them. They don't even do drive bys. I had roof work done and "completed" on the house, to find out there was bright blue tarp still on my roof 8 months after the job was done. They ignore messages, are rude and just want your money. They don't do background checks and let the tenants dictate what is happening in the house. I have spent thousands of dollars fixing stuff because of neglect on the rental companies part. Stay far away from this company!!!!!
Agree with Ryan. Never do business with this company!! They don't even read their own contract so I thought it was funny that she replied to Ryan to read it. I had to always refer to the contract to resolve issues with Avant when they didn't want to fix things. I feel really sorry for the people who own the homes and use this company to rent out out their homes for them. Beware!! They are really nice in the beginning but once your'e contracted the treatment is very cold. I came across this site because I'm looking for a company to maintain my home as a rental property. Before I bought my home I was renting and unfortunately through Avant. Home owners look elsewhere if you value your house. Renters run away because they will claim everything is your fault even when the damage was there before you moved in.
Rented from here and I thought they were a great agent to deal with... keep great records to protect both the landlord and the renter. Since day one always had time for me and my family and did everything they could to help out even through three storms in the last year.. Thanks Charlene and crew
