though they state that the first visit is "free" - they more than make up for it with their exorbitant fees. I was seen for a first visit (free) and then had one visit with a 4 quadrant root planing - I paid almost $1000 ($960ish) and upon my follow up visit was told that I had an outstanding balance the moment I walked in the door. I was there for a cleaning and still have to go back for filling - but then I will be pursuing ANY other dentist. There was an additional fee of over $400 - even after my insurance paying over $500. - So for $2000 I got my planing and two cavities filled. Disgraceful that they have the audacity to charge such high fees.
The only reason I gave them a 2 star rating is because they were on time for the visits (within 10 minutes) and the hygienist was quite good. Ridiculously over-priced and office staff are blunt and not very pleasant.
These people will set you an appointment for a month in advance then cancel it without letting you know. They will tell you that if you don't confirm your appointment they will cancel it. I set my husband's appointment a month ago and when I called today they tell me that they canceled it because we didn't confirm. We didn't get a phone call, email, or text to try to confirm the appointment. Now my husband has to sit with a broken tooth, that he has had for a month now, until I can figure out where else to take him. We have lost a day's worth of work which means we lost money but all I get told is that it's policy. I can prove that we didn't receive anything and I can prove that they had me on hold today saying they were going to try to work it out for more than 20 minutes. We will never go to an Aspen Dental ever again and everyone I know has pulled their appointments. This is an awful place and I definitely don't recommend going here.
They were very nice and compassionate. Quick and efficient.
Appointment was at 7:45am. Arrived at 7:30am. It's 9:05am and still have not been seen by dentist. Extremely long wait and still waiting! By 9:45am, no dentist! When I asked, I was advised dentist was in surgery. What? We left!!! Never ever coming back again! Horrible place!
I will say that the staff is very nice! But...I was there almost three hours for a consultation. At the end, I was told I needed some crazy treatments that I would have to come out of pocket almost $900 total for, and my insurance is great (lady at checkout even said that)! Also was told I needed to have a filling removed and redone, with absolutely no explanation as to why. I will NOT be going back!!!! Very nice but be prepared to spend unnecessary money!
