So I went in for my first set of fillings. All was good, was brought to the back right away and they started numbing me up. I sat there for about 40 minutes before they came back to start the filling. The third time I went was to get my wisdom teeth removed. My appointment was at 1pm, I wasn't brought to the back until 2pm. I found out they do 2 wisdom teeth extractions at the same time. They over scheduled and had 3 of us scheduled for 1pm. (I think they were hoping one of us would cancel since it was 2 days before thanksgiving) After that everything else went smoothly. Time number four I had another filling scheduled. They brought me to the back and had me sit down and I waited for half an hour before the dentist came into the room. Half an hour wasn't bad, except other employees were talking about how slow it was that day. And it was slow, there was only 1 other person in the waiting room and hardly anyone in the back.
I might just have bad luck, but 4 out of 4 times seems like more than just a coincidence. I do not have a problem with the service they provide; however, they do make you wait a lot. All-in-all: good service, but very time consuming. Also, hope your fillings don't need immediate attention.
The Sumter Kool Smiles always gives me the most pleasant experience. The receptionists are professional and patient with all that goes on in the office. The dental assistants are informative and the doctors are great as well. I will keep coming back to this office as long as they will have me!
Good place to go if you do not mind waiting. Staff is very friendly and professional. They always make sure you are comfortable. The only reason I give just 2 stars is the waiting. My first time there was for a cleaning. I was seen by the hygienist right away but then had to wait a full hour before the dentist checked out my mouth. After the appointment I asked about setting an appointment for the fillings I needed and getting my wisdom teeth extracted. They scheduled me for my FIRST fillings for over a month later, so my teeth could get worse...also that wasn't even for all of the fillings I needed, they didn't schedule my next fillings until after my first fillings were done and that was another month out appointment. For reference my cleaning was on Sept 22, first fillings were on Nov 8th, and second fillings were on Dec 14th. On top of that to get my wisdom teeth extracted they put me on a "quick call" list. Never got a call. When I went in for my first fillings I asked them about it and THEN they scheduled me to get them out on Nov 21st, so a full 2 months after my cleaning.
I went to Kool Smiles for a routine check-up and to have my teeth cleaned, and I can say that I will definitely be coming back here from now on any time I need to see a dentist. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth did the best job ever and all the staff were very friendly. A lady I work with takes her two kids there and she has nothing but good things to say about Kool Smiles. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone!

I have been taking my daughter here since she started to grow her teeth. Every vist is great the staff makes you feel like family and it's always nice and clean which is a huge plus for me. My daughter loves coming here she will find any reason to go to the dentist here at Kool Smiles and they always do a excellent job and take really good care of my daughter.
