As the husband of Betty Burton I was referred to Ray's Family & Cosmetic Dentistry for service on a broken tooth. I was extremely impressed with the quality of service received being treated by Dr. Gary Bethea. He was prompt courteous, and extremely professional. Dr. Bethea is truly an asset to your organization and as a result I would not hesitate to recommend Ray's to anyone in need of dental service. I was equally impressed by your front desk staff (Lativia).
Wish I could give zero stars. We recently moved to the area and I came in for a cleaning. It took them 20 minutes to give me the paperwork to fill out. Also, there were 7 people already in the waiting room when I arrived and no one moved for nearly an hour. I got up and walked out after an hour. I don't have time to sit around and wait all day long, just ridiculous. I definitely will not be going back.
I had to post a comment about a very helpful and knowledgeable young lady by the name of Melissa that answered the phone and took care of my questions. I had tons and tons of questions to ask about this facility because I am considering transferring to Ray's Family & Cosmetic Dentistry for me and my daughter. Melissa, was so patient and answered each questions which made me very happy. I called once before and the experience wasn't positive because the person that answered the phone wasn't a lot of help at all, basically tried to brush me off of the phone. Melissa took great care of me and I am glad that I gave it a second chance. Employees like Melissa are very rare and I appreciate her efforts and wanted others to know so when calling Ray's ask for Melissa! Thanks!!!
Beware or Ray Family & Cosmetic Dentistry great at what they do terrible at billing. Try to say I owe them 80 randomly from a cleaning I had done last year when im self pay and have to pay for services up front... Then they charge me for new x-rays when I just had x-rays done of the same tooth in there other office not even a week ago. There excuse is they can't transfer them because the computer is not working.. So I just have to pay for that?? It's my fault? Also why is there a charge for a exam when you just examined me last week and told me I needed to take care of this tooth, why did you think I came in... Smh U ain't getting another dime.
I would highly recommend this dentist. I got an appointment same day after being to a dentist and them trying to refer me to someone else. Paperwork for new patient was quick, wait room time was great and also in room was quick. Staff was friendly and took great care of me. I was treated with gentleness during my extraction and given thorough information on after care. Will be making this office my home office for dentistry. Thank you Ray family dentistry!
